SCDH continues to be supported and recognised by the federal government and the Canton of Bern

By granting the funding contribution for 2025 to 2028, the federal government is expressing its confidence in the SCDH and demonstrating that the question of how design can be used to improve health is of national importance – in all areas of life.

During the second funding period, the SCDH will expand its portfolio in close contact with business, science and the public sector. This includes, for example, building up an evidence-based collection of materials, a realistic operating theatre and the possibility of on-site simulation in the shell of a building at the customer's premises. After focusing on the healthcare sector, the aim is to expand the business area to include industry, home care and public buildings.
