CAS Sport facilities

Sports facilities have to meet a wide range of different requirements, and the behaviour and needs of those using them are constantly changing. 1:1 simulation with the users can help to optimise the buildings.

The CAS Sports Facilities at the Swiss Federal Institute of Sports Magglingen (EHSM) teaches the basics and specialised knowledge for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of sports facilities. It is aimed at people who are responsible for the planning, construction and operational aspects of sports infrastructure or for the management of sports facilities.

As part of the CAS module on ‘Digitisation and Simulation’, the SCDH will introduce itself and actively involve the participants in a short simulation workshop. The aim is to familiarise the CAS participants with the method of simulation-based testing and to discuss with them the advantages, challenges and potential applications in their own fields.
